The aim of Honours is to extend the student's grasp of the principles and practice of their subject, and to develop the ability for independent research.

An Honours qualification of 2A is normally required for admission to higher research degree study.

An undergraduate unit (200/300-level) or a Masters unit (500-level) -- 4 pts

Note: Students who have not completed the equivalent of BUS294 Econometrics -- 4 pts within their undergraduate course will be required to take this unit in lieu of their Honours Elective.

Thesis - 12 points

BUS4009 Honours Thesis in Economics -- 12 pts
