Master of <fieldname> (Research Masters with training)

Restriction:
All postgraduate courses are subject to restriction.

Duration:
1.5 years full-time or part-time equivalent

Candidature for research degrees is offered in all Schools. The University encourages research in interdisciplinary areas as well as in the basic disciplines.

The Research Masters (with Training) is an 18-month full-time (or three years part-time) degree designed for students for whom additional, or specialised, research training is desirable. It is designed for:

* Industry professionals who seek to extend and deepen their research expertise

* Professionals and others interested in undertaking research relevant to their professional field

* Those hoping to proceed to higher degrees but lacking in the conventional background.

Admission Requirements: Onshore course offerings:
English competence.

Internet access is required for students studying externally; exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
