Description The MBA (Global) is designed to offer leading-edge national and international business administration knowledge and skills, with a simultaneous focus on opportunities to acquire high level industry experience through professional placements orapplied research projects.
Admission Requirements: Onshore course offerings To qualify for this course, applicants should:
(i) have a Bachelors Degree (AQF 7) or equivalent; OR
(ii) Alternative entry via Portfolio to contain:
∙ Curriculum Vitae
∙ Valid GMAT score or Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)
∙ A Written statement of no more than 800 words. The statement should address reasons why enrolment in the course will enhance the applicant's early career professional portfolio
With the option of an interview for alternative entry applicants at the discretion of the School.
No work experience is necessary, but if you have two or more years of work experience you may apply for the Master of Business Administration.

English competence. Students demonstrating English competence via IELTS need an overall score of 6.0 with no individual band less than 6.0.
Course Learning Outcomes Graduates of the MBA (Global) will be able to:

These highly skilled, experienced and connected Murdoch MBA graduates are well placed to pursue rewarding careers and leadership roles in businesses, government and non-government organisations (NGOs) within Australia or internationally.

Employability Students who want to complete their MBA early in their career have the opportunity to select the MBA (Global) which is designed specifically for recent graduates and/or those with limited professional work experience. The MBA (Global) provides early career professionals with the opportunity to engage in learning activities that equip them with the career management tools needed to succeed.
Advanced Standing Applicants with a Graduate Certificate Business Administration may gain entry into this course and be awarded up to 12 points of Advanced Standing for 500-level units to be determined in consultation with the Academic Chair.
Internet Access RequirementsMurdoch units normally include an online component comprising materials, discussions, lecture recordings and assessment activities. All students, regardless of their location or mode of study, need to have access to and be able to use computing devices with browsing capability and a connection to the Internet via Broadband (Cable, ADSL or Mobile) or Wireless. The Internet connection should be readily available and allow large amounts of data to be streamed or downloaded (approximately 100MB per lecture recording). Students also need to be able to enter into online discussions and submit assignments online.
