Internet Access RequirementsMurdoch units normally include an online component comprising materials, discussions, lecture recordings and assessment activities. All students, regardless of their location or mode of study, need to have access to and be able to use computing devices with browsing capability and a connection to the Internet via Broadband (Cable, ADSL or Mobile) or Wireless. The Internet connection should be readily available and allow large amounts of data to be streamed or downloaded (approximately 100MB per lecture recording). Students also need to be able to enter into online discussions and submit assignments online.

Course Structure - 24 credit points

Core Units - 24 credit points

Students may take an Asian language unit as one of the core units, however the Academic Chair must be consulted to establish level of study.

With the approval of the Academic Chair, students with the relevant proficiency in either Indonesian or Japanese language may enrol in the semester in that country. Subject to Academic Chair approval, students may complete 12 or 24 points in country.

JPN543 Semester in Japan - 12 points
(Academic Chair must approve enrolment.)

IND543 Semester in Indonesia 5 - 12 points

Students may also select an undergraduate-level unit in language and should consult with the Academic Chair to determine the appropriate level.
