Description This award is a professionally-oriented coursework qualification in Human Resources Management (HRM) and is accredited with the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).

It provides students with a sound understanding of strategic business contexts and objectives necessary for the development of HR strategy within a legal and governance framework. Graduates of this degree can translate and adapt theory to engage with stakeholders to develop ethical and sustainable HR solutions that are appropriate to the organisational context.
Admission Requirements: Onshore course offerings Recognised Bachelor's degree or satisfactory preparation for the course through previous study or professional experience. Graduates who wish to pursue a Masters program must apply for admission before enrolling in any further units.

Equivalent of an Academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0.

Advanced Standing Applications will be considered on a one to one basis and applicants are recommended to consult with the academic chair at the time of enrolment if this is a consideration.
Internet Access RequirementsMurdoch units normally include an online component comprising materials, discussions, lecture recordings and assessment activities. All students, regardless of their location or mode of study, need to have access to and be able to use computing devices with browsing capability and a connection to the Internet via Broadband (Cable, ADSL or Mobile) or Wireless. The Internet connection should be readily available and allow large amounts of data to be streamed or downloaded (approximately 100MB per lecture recording). Students also need to be able to enter into online discussions and submit assignments online.
