Description The BIT & B degree offers high level technology skills and an understanding of the business world, and is orientated to both the digital transformation of business and the needs of business and IT professionals operating at the human/social technology interface.
Admission Requirements: Onshore course offerings As per normal undergraduate admission.

English competence. Students demonstrating English competence via IELTS need an overall score of 6.0 with no individual band less than 6.0.
Course Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate integrated knowledge of the principles and core concepts of Information Systems and Business Management.
2. Analyse organisational processes and information requirements to identify opportunities for information technology enabled organisational improvement.
3. Create fit-for-purpose, evidence-based solutions applicable to a range of organisational contexts, drawing upon integrated disciplinary knowledge.
4. Display the capability to work independently and in teams, with demonstrated interpersonal skills.
5. Communicate effectively in a variety of forms to a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders in diverse cultural and contextual environments.
6. Demonstrate personal responsibility including documentation, record keeping, and identifying professional development needs to maintain awareness of industry developments and appreciation of their roles in organisation improvement.
7. Display capacity to behave with integrity and in an ethical manner, through complying with legislation, industry and organisational codes of conduct, and recognising ethical implications of professional practice.

Internet Access RequirementsMurdoch units normally include an online component comprising materials, discussions, lecture recordings and assessment activities. All students, regardless of their location or mode of study, need to have access to and be able to use computing devices with browsing capability and a connection to the Internet via Broadband (Cable, ADSL or Mobile) or Wireless. The Internet connection should be readily available and allow large amounts of data to be streamed or downloaded (approximately 100MB per lecture recording). Students also need to be able to enter into online discussions and submit assignments online.
