The University reserves the right to cancel, without notice, any course, major, minor or unit if the number of students enrolled falls below limits set by the University.

Students should ensure they are familiar with the University's internal legislation, including provisions specifically relevant to their studies. See the University Regulation overview and view legislation online.

Tuition Fee Calculator

Information on this page, including unit offerings, is from the 2020 academic year.

Student Type: Domestic - Graduate Coursework - Full fee paying - commenced 2015 to 2017

The cost of each unit of study depends on its discipline and the associated Field of Education. The Field of Education is the basis of Commonwealth Government funding for Commonwealth-supported students, and is therefore used by the University as the basis for determining tuition fees for domestic fee-paying students.

Note that the fees quoted within the Fees Calculator apply only to units studied in that year; different fees may apply to units studied in future years. Each year on 1 October the fees for the following year will be published.

Australian citizens and holders of a permanent humanitarian visa are eligible to obtain a Federal Government income-contingent loan to pay all or part of their tuition fees. This loan is known as FEE-HELP. Students who are requesting FEE-HELP assistance must complete a request for FEE-HELP Assistance form, and read the FEE-HELP booklet available online or in hard copy from The Student Centre. There is a lifetime limit to the amount of FEE-HELP loan that a student can incur.

Guidelines for determining this category of Murdoch student

The following guidelines have been established to determine which students are to be treated in this category:

  • The student commenced their course after 1 November 2014, and
  • The student was not enrolled and did not incur fees in a relevant Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma course prior to 1 January 2015.
