At Murdoch campus, a free health service is provided by the University’s nurses to students, staff and visitors. Students who have a Medicare card can access one of the sessional doctors on a bulk-billed basis.
International students are able to receive a full rebate from their private healthcare provider.
The Health Service coordinates a number of health awareness and improvement programs including vaccination and Pap smear clinics.
First aid assistance is provided by trained first aiders, and is available on all of the University’s campuses. At Peel and Rockingham campuses, information on local doctors’ clinics in the vicinity of each campus is available at Student Services offices.
