Description:	This unit introduces students to the development and lifetime adaptation of the motor system from birth through adulthood. It will provide an understanding of movement control, movement learning, movement development and movement disorders. This unit will involve theory based presentations and practical lab demonstrations.
Contact time:	Lectures: 4 hours per week; laboratories: 4 hours per week.
Prerequisites:	CHI108 Functional Human Anatomy AND CHI124 Principles of Sports Science.

Students who have successfully completed a unit may not enrol for credit in any subsequent version of that unit, even if under a different code and/or title, nor in any parallel lower- or higher-level version. Students enrolled in a higher-level version of a unit are required to demonstrate advanced analytical skills and/or use of advanced research tools in assignments modified for that level.

Cancellation of Courses, Minors and Units
