Description:	This unit builds on prior diagnosis units with emphasis on the development of evaluative processes to distinguish between the variety of underlying causes that may be associated with case history, physical and special examination findings. Small group/tutorial discussion and resolution of clinical presentations will emphasise orthopaedic and neurological evaluation of the patient and development of the working diagnosis. A radiology stream pertaining to osseous and articular trauma and infectious diseases of bone will be incorporated.
Contact time:	Lectures/workshops: 4 hours per week; practicals (small groups): 2 hours per week; project work/seminars: 2 hours per week.
Prerequisites:	Enrolment in BSc/BChiro and successful completion of Years 1 and 2 and CHI301 Processes in Human Disease.

Students who have successfully completed a unit may not enrol for credit in any subsequent version of that unit, even if under a different code and/or title, nor in any parallel lower- or higher-level version. Students enrolled in a higher-level version of a unit are required to demonstrate advanced analytical skills and/or use of advanced research tools in assignments modified for that level.

Cancellation of Courses, Minors and Units
