Description: 

Provides instruction in the indications and safe and accurate use of ancillary modalities. Discussion includes the appropriateness of ancillary modalities as a single therapy or as a therapy in conjunction with other forms of care.

Contact time: 

Lectures/workshops: 2 hours per week; practicals (small groups): 2 hours per week.

Prerequisites: 

Enrolment in BSc/BChiro and the successful completion of CHI301 Processes in Human Disease, CHI302 Diagnosis and Chiropractic Skills, CHI303 Primary Practice I: Clinical Science and Diagnosis, and CHI304 Clinical Orthopaedics and Neurology.

Students who have successfully completed a unit may not enrol for credit in any subsequent version of that unit, even if under a different code and/or title, nor in any parallel lower- or higher-level version. Students enrolled in a higher-level version of a unit are required to demonstrate advanced analytical skills and/or use of advanced research tools in assignments modified for that level.

Cancellation of Courses, Minors and Units
