Description: |
Focus on development of physical activity skills through a range of movement experiences in different contexts. Enhance your movement skills through participation in a range of physical activities including fundamental movement skills, aesthetic forms of movement, aquatic pursuits and team games. Appreciate skill development in a range of contexts, achieve an aquatic accreditation and analyse movement from a fundamental movement skill perspective. Understand how to plan and manage physical activity experiences in an enjoyable, structured, safe and developmentally appropriate format. |

Prerequisites: |
Enrolment in an initial teacher education course. Students not enrolled in an initial teacher education course need to seek permission from the Unit Coordinator. |

Students who have successfully completed a unit may not enrol for credit in any subsequent version of that unit, even if under a different code and/or title, nor in any parallel lower- or higher-level version. Students enrolled in a higher-level version of a unit are required to demonstrate advanced analytical skills and/or use of advanced research tools in assignments modified for that level.
Cancellation of Courses, Minors and Units
