Enrolment Options: |
Murdoch: S2-internal, S2H-external |
Description: |
This unit has two strands: Strand A: the Arts and Technology and Enterprise; and, Strand B: Health and Physical Education. Strand A deals with the concept that the arts and technology are central to the expression and identity of all human societies, and Strand B examines the nature and importance of healthy activity in our society. The main focus will be defining and understanding these learning areas in the context of teaching and learning and the primary school curriculum. |

Students are required to attend lectures and participate in workshops in both strands A and B. External students are required to attend an on-campus intensive teaching week, commencing Monday 5 July, 2010. External students are also required to complete a self-devised study program equivalent to workshops undertaken by internal students. Final details will be available on the unit information page, the School of Education's web site and LMS. |

Students enrolled in a higher-level version of a unit are required to demonstrate advanced analytical skills and/or use of advanced research tools in assignments modified for that level.
