Description: |
Gives students the opportunity to consolidate their theoretical knowledge and develop a high level of professional competence. It aims to nurture the development of the reflective practitioner and establish a foundation for confronting the issues associated with the professional responsibilities of being a teacher. The unit consists of an initial two-weeks on-campus (internal only) prior to a six-week school-based internship and it concludes with two-weeks on-campus as a preparation for the students' future profession. |

Enrolment in the final semester of a Bachelor of Education (Primary) OR Bachelor of Education (Primary) (Graduate) course. |
Notes: |
Students will be required to have successfully completed all the required units. Enrolment in the relevant Professional Internship Preliminary unit (EDU377) in the same semester will be expected. |

Students who have successfully completed a unit may not enrol for credit in any subsequent version of that unit, even if under a different code and/or title, nor in any parallel lower- or higher-level version. Students enrolled in a higher-level version of a unit are required to demonstrate advanced analytical skills and/or use of advanced research tools in assignments modified for that level.
Cancellation of Courses, Minors and Units
The University reserves the right to cancel, without notice, any course, major, minor or unit if the number of students enrolled falls below limits set by the University.
