Description: |
We create our future through our collective vision. Our culture is technologically advanced but morally challenged and unevenly developed. Using science fiction as a platform for critical reflection, and examining the world through the perspectives of Philosophy and Science, this unit will prepare students to meet today's challenges and enhance their ability to imagine possible sustainable futures. Students will gain the tools needed to critically assess a wide range of topics in their university studies and later life. |

Students who have successfully completed a unit may not enrol for credit in any subsequent version of that unit, even if under a different code and/or title, nor in any parallel lower- or higher-level version. Students enrolled in a higher-level version of a unit are required to demonstrate advanced analytical skills and/or use of advanced research tools in assignments modified for that level.
Cancellation of Courses, Minors and Units
The University reserves the right to cancel, without notice, any course, major, minor or unit if the number of students enrolled falls below limits set by the University.
