This unit examines the making, operation and implementation of the international and domestic law governing carriage by air of passengers, baggage and cargo. Areas covered include the regulatory framework of international civil aviation, Australia's international obligations in the regulation of air travel, the functions, roles responsibilities and potential liabilities of the aviation regulatory authorities, air carrier liability, and aviation security. |

Students who have already completed LAW3003: Special Topics in Law: Aviation Law may not enrol in this unit for credit. |
