Description: |
This unit covers the rules of civil procedure in Western Australia, including jurisdiction of Western Australian courts, commencement of proceedings and service of process, pleadings, discovery and other interlocutory proceedings, judgement (including enforcement), appeals, costs and alternatives to litigation. |

Lectures: 4 hours per week. Up to 6 hours of drafting workshops; these may be held as a full-day session on a weekend during the semester. Date(s) of drafting workshops will be advised in the first lecture. |

Students are advised that this unit should be taken in the last year of enrolment. |

Students who have successfully completed a unit may not enrol for credit in any subsequent version of that unit, even if under a different code and/or title, nor in any parallel lower- or higher-level version. Cancellation of Courses, Minors and Units
