Description: |
Admiralty law is a unique and truly international type of commercial law. This unit deals with the liability of ships in admiralty. It will cover a range of types of liability such as salvage, collisions, liability to passengers, towage and marine pollution. It will also deal with enforcement of admiralty claims, including maritime liens, admiralty procedures such as the arrest of vessels, and a ship's right to limit liability. |

Students who have successfully completed a unit may not enrol for credit in any subsequent version of that unit, even if under a different code and/or title, nor in any parallel lower- or higher-level version.
