Description: |
This unit will focus on organisational management and leadership in health aged, residential and community services. Students' thinking around reframing and transforming organisations will be expanded. Theoretical and practical issues will be explored to expose operational managers to strategic leadership concepts. The unit focuses around five integrated concepts: communities of practice; quality of services; nature of learning; structure and controls and attitudes to chaos, change and transition. |
