Description: |
This unit aims to support personal and professional development with a focus on communication skills. Students will attend a compulsory workshop to discuss the finding of the Veterinary Professional Life I tasks and to develop team skills. Talks by visiting speakers will raise awareness of conflict management styles and aspects of veterinary professional life. Information will be provided on Farm visits required for Veterinary Professional Life III. |
Contact time: |
Students will spend one week in selected veterinary practices during their vacation time. |
Prerequisites: |
Enrolment in Veterinary Biology Year 2; VET209 Veterinary Professional Life I. |
Assessment: |
A result of Ungraded Pass or Fail is awarded for this unit. |
