Description: 

Focuses on ways to use information and communications technology (ICT) to help students learn and teachers teach in primary, secondary or post-secondary settings. Numerous claims, some wildly optimistic, have been made about the relationships between ICT and education. This unit will help you assess some of these and develop effective strategies for integrating ICT into teaching and learning in your chosen area. This unit, on its own, is not sufficient preparation for those who want to teach information technology itself.

External: No attendance required.

Prerequisites: 

Completion of at least one Part II education unit, or equivalent.

Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.
