Description: |
A general unit designed to introduce the scientific study of the atmosphere and its impact on human endeavours. The unit explores meteorological phenomena with particular relevance to the Australian region and introduces satellite remote sensing, climate modelling and biosphere/atmosphere interactions. Laboratory sessions as well as computer and online activities develop generic skills appropriate to environmental research. |
