This unit is designed to develop game development skills and explores tools for games production. Major topics covered: DirectX for game production; game engines and software tools; Open source game development; game design and development; introduction to story telling; character design, level design and game design.

Contact time: 

Lectures and tutorials: up to 5 hours per week.

Prerequisites: 

ICT207 Games Design and Programming.
