Description: |
Provides a strong understanding of underlying security models and designs, and gives practical knowledge of how various types of security systems work in the real world. Topics: securing computer systems, minimising exposure to risks online, encryption to secure files, email and network traffic, intrusion detection systems and firewalls, network security testing and auditing, management of secure authentication techniques such as Kerberos, SSL and SSH, wireless networking, digital rights management, understanding of security flaws and their repair and secure programming. |
