Description: 

This unit examines the advanced routing topics associated with the design and management of large-scale IP networks. The technologies covered are typically found in large corporate, government, telecommunication carrier and ISP networks. Topics include: BGP, IS-IS, MPLS and EIGRP routing protocols, ISDN, frame-relay, DSL and WAN connectivity.

Contact time: 

Lectures and practical sessions: up to 5 hours per week.

ICT120 Principles of Data Communications.
