Description: 

This unit represents the dissertation component of the degree and aims to develop professional writing skills. Literature search and Masters standard of case management and presentation is expected. Three reports involve cases candidates have managed. Two should demonstrate ability to diagnose and manage cases using a problem solving approach. The third, requires a review of relevant literature and should demonstrate ability to integrate wider reading into patient management; standard to be suitable for publication.

Prerequisites: 

Enrolment in Master of Veterinary Studies in Small Animal Practice.
Case Reports can only be taken by candidates who have passed or are currently enrolled in at least 12 points of Masters units, including two of the core Medicine or Surgery units.

Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.
