This unit aims to assist clinicians develop diagnostic skills in veterinary dermatology using a practical, problem-oriented approach and provides updates on therapeutic developments for common skin problems. The unit presents different perspectives on the diagnosis of conditions such as chronic pruritus, refractory eosinophilic granuloma and recurrent bacterial pyoderma, and offers a review of management options of common skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, dermatophytosis, and eosinophilic granuloma complex. Case-based learning using images, cytology and histopathology supplements comprehensive notes. |
