Overview
Conservation Biology studies biological diversity and roles for its preservation. The co-major covers biological basics as welll as the social, political and economic context in which conservation policy is developed and implemented. Students have opportunities for field work to provide authentic, experiential learning.

Apply a broad and coherent knowledge of abiotic and biotic processes to assess anthropocentric impacts on aquatic and terrestrial organisms and ecosystems.
