Learning outcomes

1.

Demonstrate substantive knowledge of theatrical and dramatic texts and of contemporary theoretical and practice-led approaches to drama, theatre and performance in a range of cultural contexts.

2.

Critically evaluate the role and function of dramatic texts and performances.

3.

Create, develop, interpret and present characters and concepts to performance level in self-directed and collaborative projects of increasing complexity, in a variety of performance modes and to a range of audiences.

4.

Apply relevant professional technologies and techniques to achieve a range of creative outcomes in the context of theatre production and performance.

5.

Work collaboratively and independently in theatre productions and performances to respond to project demands.

6.

Recognise and demonstrate practices of ethical and effective discourse on complex or controversial social and philosophical issues that apply in the practice of the discipline.
