Learning outcomes

Knowledge and Skills
Graduates will acquire a body of specialist knowledge and engineering skills that
includes the recent developments and contemporary engineering practice in water
treatment technology design, operation, alternatives analysis, regulation, system
integration, and economics.

Application ability of relevant methods and tools
Graduates will gain the ability to apply established engineering methods,
techniques, tools and resources relevant to solving complex engineering problems
in the water treatment and desalination engineering areas.

Application ability of systematic engineering synthesis and design processes
Graduates will gain the ability to contribute to engineering projects associated with
water treatment and desalination systems engineering involving independent
research, critical analysis, development, implementation, testing, commissioning
and/or design elements.

Graduates will be able to apply systematic approaches to the conduct and
management of engineering projects and gain experiences in team membership
