Learning outcomes

1.

Demonstrate a broad and coherent knowledge and understanding of the underlying principles and core concepts of Internetworking and Network Security, including:
a) Appreciation of the interplay between theory and practice
b) Awareness of the broad applicability of computing
c) Appreciation of domain-specific knowledge, including:
    * data communications theory and practice
    * Network design and troubleshooting
    * Network security
    * Wireless network technologies

2.

Demonstrate mastery of the core networking technologies and topologies to create secure and efficient solutions for organisational data communications.

Develop proficiency in the design and administration of a number of data communications networks and environments.

Demonstrated capacity to specify, design, implement, secure and manage complex organisational data communications networks.
