Learning outcomes
1.
Demonstrated Indonesian language competence to operate effectively in a primary school context.
2.
Outline basic linguistic theory, particularly with regard to the processes of Second Language Acquisition and Second Language Teaching.
3.
Describe the national and state policy documentation associated with the learning and teaching of Languages.
4.
Plan learning experiences according to the Western Australian School Curriculum and Standards Authority Curriculum and Assessment Requirements.
5.
Display proficiency in dealing with all areas of the ‘curriculum jigsaw’.
6.
Demonstrate professional concern for, and interest in, the issues associated with the teaching and learning of second/foreign languages, together with a personal commitment towards achieving the standards of an accomplished languages and cultures teacher.
