Learning outcomes

Identify how Asia has shaped the global present and is shaping the world’s future.

2.

Apply a variety of theoretical or disciplinary approaches to demonstrate an understanding of past and present Asian cultures.

Evaluate competing sources of knowledge, apply discipline-appropriate research methods and analyse complex issues to interpret diverse representations of Asia.

Effectively communicate ideas in written and other forms, and make evidence-based, persuasive and sustained arguments.

Design and manage projects of increasing sophistication, involving ethical inquiry, and working independently and with others.

Acknowledge cross-cultural perspectives when considering complex issues in Australian and Asian contexts.
