Learning outcomes
1.
Analyse professional knowledge and practices relevant to secondary children’s physical, cultural, social, linguistic and intellectual characteristics and their learning and incorporate this knowledge in teaching in one learning area..
2.
Apply appropriate curriculum content knowledge, pedagogy and assessment practices to design lessons which meet the needs of a diverse range of classroom learners in Years 7 - 12 in one learning area.
3.
Justify strategies used in creating and maintaining engaging, supportive and safe learning environments to support inclusive student participation in secondary schools.
4.
Identify and comply with legislative, administrative and organisational requirements of the teaching profession in secondary schools.
