Learning outcomes

Advanced knowledge in a growing professional area of environmental
science, environmental management and impact assessment.
2.
Cognitive skills in general principles of sustainable land and water
management.
3.
Technical skills in spatial data analysis using graphical information systems
(GIS) and remote sensing for the purposes of environmental management and
planning.

Cognitive skills in collecting, analysing, interpreting and reporting data from
environmental monitoring programs and identifying and providing solutions to
environmental concerns.
5.
Communication skills to explain environmental decision‐making for the
purpose of public engagement with relation to environmental assessment and
management.
