All graduate courses are subject to restriction.

Prior to placement in any school or child-care centre for Professional Experience, it is mandatory that students complete or obtain several forms and clearances. Information and forms regarding these mandatory requirements can be accessed via the Professional Experience website: http://www.murdoch.edu.au/School-of-Education/Professional-Experience Completion and submission of these mandatory requirements is essential before placements can be arranged.

Undergraduate or graduate qualification in primary teaching.

Equivalent of an Academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0.

This course is not available to international students studying in Australia on a student visa; it is available to international students on other visas if visa conditions allow.

Students commencing mid-year will need 1.5 years minimum enrolment (a total of 3 semesters) to complete requirements.

On completion of the Graduate Diploma in Education (Early Childhood Education and Care), students have a nationally accepted qualification from a recognised university and are eligible for employment in Australian Early Childhood Education and Care sector (working with children aged birth to five years).
