Learning outcomes

1.

Graduates of the Master of Sustainable Development demonstrate advanced and integrated mastery of theory and practice pertaining to sustainability within: a) households and communities; b) urban and regional areas; and c) developed and developing countries.

Graduates demonstrate and apply knowledge of research principles and methods relevant to sustainable development scholarship and practice

Graduates analyse, synthesise and apply theories and perspectives of
sustainable development and related disciplines to complex sustainable
development problems, and design context-specific strategies for improved
sustainability outcomes

Graduates have the cognitive and technical skills required to plan,
devise and evaluate programs, policies and visions that enhance sustainable
development within households, communities, urban and regional areas, and
globally

5.

Graduates have the skills to communicate professional decisions, including the choice of methodologies, to specialist and non-specialist audiences, orally and in writing

6.

Graduates apply sustainability theories and practices in a range of scholarly and professional contexts, ethically and creatively, individually and collaboratively.
