Learning outcomes

Students will develop knowledge of the theoretical and empirical bases of psychological assessment and psychological interventions, and an understanding of the application of the scientist-practitioner model to the practice of psychology

They will develop competence in the skills required to conduct psychological research

Students will demonstrate strong critical thinking skills in relation to psychological topics and issues, and an understanding of how both the science and practice of psychology are situated within the broader contexts of society, culture and history
