This Graduate Diploma builds students’ knowledge of community development theory and practice, social research, and community participatory methods. The course is designed to develop knowledge of social research and community participatory methods. It combines the study of community development theory, settings, and policy formation with the development of knowledge and skills in community planning, research methods and program evaluation. As part of their studies, students may undertake a placement with a community organisation.
