Explain the importance of professional regulation and how professional codes, policies, frameworks, guidelines, standards, and the National Law, are applied in professional nursing practice.

Describe Australia’s health care system and health professions.

Identify and explain the legal and ethical aspects of nursing and the responsibilities of registered nurses and nursing students.

Identify and explain evidence-based standards that guide safety and quality in healthcare.

6.

Develop an understanding of clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and reflection, and how they relate to the professional attributes of a Strengths-Based student nurse.
