Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology to the care of patients with acute alterations to their health and wellbeing
Demonstrate the quality use of medicines through an understanding of pharmacological management of acute alterations to health and wellbeing
Discuss the implications of acute alterations to health and wellbeing across the lifespan, considering the unique and diverse experiences of patients, families and carers.
Identify factors which contribute to medication errors, and the role of the nurse in promoting patient safety through evidence-based practice.
Consider the role of patients in medication management, including health literacy, patient education and patient adherence to treatment plans
