Learning outcomes

1.

Identify, and detail applications of, the main simulation and predictive quantum level methodologies covered in the unit.

2.

Investigate the use of quantum mechanical models and tools that can be applied in chemistry and physics contexts.

3.

Use computational based simulation software to interrogate problems in a range of chemistry and physics contexts.

4.

Communicate concepts in quantum chemistry and physics, and relate them to applications, for a specific audience, e.g. school group, university peers, general public.
