Unit content:

Topics will include the requirements and procedures relating to visa refusals, cancellation, compliance and review; preparing submissions for administrative review and ministerial discretion; representing clients with Department of Home Affairs and before Tribunals; researching case law; public interest criteria; exclusion periods and re-entry bans; merits and judicial review of decisions and ministerial discretion.
