Additional information

Unit content:Based on the introduction of scientific models in first year units, a framework in the areas of thermodynamics, kinetics, MO theory and solution chemistry is delivered in a series of 36 lectures. The content develops these models and deepens the level to which they are understood. The unit content provides a base for third year studies of practical and industrial systems. A series of laboratory experiments are integrated into this structure and designed to support important aspects of the unit.
