Demonstrate specialised knowledge of an important development or policy issue or area of professional practice in an area and topic related to your Masters program.

Effectively disseminate the research findings in a research project report that reflects highly developed communication skills.

Unit content:

Students learn about and apply research methods and practices relevant to their Master degree. This includes learning how to prepare a research proposal and plan and conduct a research project, compile an annotated bibliography, and write a literature review. There is no specified subject content, as students choose their own topic relevant to development or/and policy (in consultation with academic staff) and develop expertise in this subject area
