Demonstrate a broad understanding of the way that justice claims are developing to include responsibilities to people in other countries and explain how this extension is justified

Evaluate the extension of justice claims to global justice claims with respect to people in other countries in terms of Humanitarian Intervention, Terrorism, Poverty, Development, Environmental Sustainability, Women or Migration
3.
Explain the logical process through which responsibilities with respect to global justice claims have been developed
4.
Critically reflect on the general form of arguments for responsibilities associated with global justice
5.
Assess the validity of arguments with respect to global justice claims
6.
Plan effectively, and communicate clearly and coherently both orally and in writing.

Unit content:The unit is in two parts.
The first, smaller, part works through historical and conceptual matters essential for understanding and engaging in the discussions in the second part of the unit.
Part One
In the first part we cover preliminary or theoretical questions concerning the nature of justice claims.
Part Two
In the second part we look at a series of contexts in which the tension between global and national justice can be observed.
