Recognise the diverse strategies and resources that can be used to scaffold, monitor, and record and assess literacy and numeracy in the early years

Explain the relationship between cultural, linguistic and family diversity and its impact on literacy and numeracy in the early years

Acquire professional skills and knowledge necessary for the planning and provision of an integrated programme (that includes ICT and play) to engage young children in literacy and numeracy in the early years activities
