Unit content:The approach to learning in this unit is case study based in which students research and analyse local, national and global health issues and crises case studies in the context of communication, policy, behavioral change and public health theory and practice. Students will learn to research, develop and articulate a strategic health communications plan for an identified organisation. Some topics include health communication contexts, health communication in practice and the use of technology in health communication.
