Outline the nature, causes and predisposing factors of presented neurological disease
Describe and discuss the clinical implications of human neuroanatomy in detail as they relate to neurological function in the human
Describe, identify and discuss the signs and symptoms of neurological function and dysfunction in the human in detail
Perform complete neurological examinations at a clinically competent level
Work through a given brief case presentation to formulate a list of differential diagnoses and likely associated findings of each
Use the knowledge gained from the unit to formulate principles guiding management of common diseases discussed in the unit

Additional information
This unit builds on Diagnosis I and develops a principles approach to the neurological component of clinical pathology. Pathophysiology, epidemiology and clinical presentation of common neurological disorders will be covered. Current research on the weekly topics will also be discussed.
