Students must be enrolled in the following:
Master of Wildlife Health and Conservation (M1232) or the Master of Veterinary Studies in Conservation Medicine (M1122).

Learning outcomes
1.
Prepare a proposal for a wildlife health and conservation research project aligned with their placement or chosen interest area, and justify it on the basis of a critical review of relevant literature.
2.
In the case of a field placement, demonstrate professionalism in the workplace and an ability to apply theory from coursework units in a practical setting.
3.
Evaluate and present research findings in the form a major written report.
4.
Determine project specific recommendations that extend the research into the applied field for use by conservation managers, stakeholders, or placement providers.
